My dental implant/crown keep catching food and now they’ve cracked. It is just under a year old. Is there a warranty? If so, how long?
Isaac A.- Missouri
Isaac,
No, dental implants do not have warranties. That being said, if your dentist has integrity he will stand behind his work. A crown should last significantly longer than a year. I would go in and explain what is happening. Though he is under no obligation to do so, he will very likely replace it at no charge. Also, so you know in the future, a crown should not be catching food. If that happens, go in right away and have it adjusted.
